Blocker #10: Request Indexing in Google Search Console
Manually request Google to index our top pages to accelerate crawling
Priority P3 PARTIAL — indexing confirmed, keep requesting remaining pagesRequest Indexing in Google Search Console
Update (2026-03-24): GSC confirms indexing is working — URL Inspection shows “Page is indexed” + “URL is on Google” for checked pages. site: searches still empty (1-7 day lag between GSC status and SERP visibility). Keep requesting indexing for remaining priority pages to accelerate the process.
Why this matters: We submitted sitemaps for all 3 domains, but Google can take 2-7 days to crawl everything. You can speed this up by manually requesting indexing for our most important pages. Each “Request Indexing” click tells Google “hey, look at this page now.”
Time needed: ~15 minutes (9 pages across 3 domains)
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Open Google Search Console
Go to https://search.google.com/search-console and log in.
Step 2: Select the first domain — devbrew.org
In the property selector (top-left dropdown), choose devbrew.org.
Step 3: Use URL Inspection
- Click “URL Inspection” in the left sidebar (or use the search bar at the top)
- Paste this URL into the inspection bar:
https://devbrew.org/
- Wait for it to load (takes a few seconds)
- Click “Request Indexing” button
- Wait for the confirmation (it may take 30 seconds to process)
Step 4: Repeat for DevBrew’s top pages
Do the same URL Inspection + Request Indexing for:
https://devbrew.org/jwt-decoder.html
https://devbrew.org/password-generator.html
https://devbrew.org/base64.html
(These are the top 3 pages by organic traffic)
Step 5: Switch to parchpdf.com
In the property selector, switch to parchpdf.com. Request indexing for:
https://parchpdf.com/
https://parchpdf.com/merge.html
https://parchpdf.com/best-pdf-editor.html
(Homepage, most popular tool, and our revenue page)
Step 6: Switch to picbrew.org
Switch to picbrew.org. Request indexing for:
https://picbrew.org/
https://picbrew.org/compress.html
(Homepage and most popular tool)
Step 7: Done!
That’s 9 pages total. Google will prioritize crawling these pages now. You should see them start appearing in search results within 1-3 days instead of the usual 2-7 days.
How to Check if it Worked
After 2-3 days, you can check indexing by searching Google for:
site:devbrew.org
site:parchpdf.com
site:picbrew.org
If pages show up, they’re indexed. The SEO agent will also track this automatically.
Summary of All 9 Pages
| # | Domain | URL | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | devbrew.org | / | Homepage |
| 2 | devbrew.org | /jwt-decoder.html | Top organic page (10 views) |
| 3 | devbrew.org | /password-generator.html | #2 organic page (9 views) |
| 4 | devbrew.org | /base64.html | #3 organic page (7 views) |
| 5 | parchpdf.com | / | Homepage |

This is a P3 blocker — recommended but not urgent. Indexing will happen eventually with sitemaps alone.
